Let me introduce myself.
That’s me in the picture above in a recent trial for a former South Texas mayor accused of voter fraud. He was facing 99 years but the jury found him not guilty.
That’s what I do, try difficult cases in Texas State and Federal court.
I’ve also been full faculty at UT-RGV teaching Business Law for the last 14 years.
I head a Law Firm, Pena Aleczander, based in McAllen, Texas. We concentrate in three general areas of practice: 1) Outside general counsel and transactional work for growing businesses, 2) Commercial litigation, and 3) High-stakes criminal defense. Much of the Firm’s staff are either professors or former students who now practice law.
You can read more about what I’m doing in the news section of our Firm website.

I'm not done.
Also, nothing I write, post, or link to constitutes legal advice, which must be tailored to the specific circumstances of each case or situation you face. You should not act upon the information provided here without seeking professional counsel from an attorney admitted or authorized to practice in your jurisdiction. There, I'm done.
